Classic Crinkle Cut Fries

Ingredients
- 1 bag Cavendish Farms FlavourCrisp Classic Crinkle Cut Fries
- 2 tbsp white miso paste
- 1 tbsp tamari (substitute soy sauce)
- 1 cup vegetable broth, divided
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 - 2 banana peppers, thinly sliced
- 2 scallions, sliced
- Sesame seeds (to garnish)
Directions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- Spread Crinkle Cut Fries in the air fryer basket and cook according to packaging instructions.
- To prep, whisk miso, tamari, and 2 tbsp of vegetable stock together in a small bowl. Set aside.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in the remaining vegetable stock. Simmer until thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Remove gravy from heat and stir in the miso mixture. Season with pepper to taste.
- Top cooked Crinkle Cut Fries with miso gravy and garnish with banana peppers, scallions, and sesame seeds!
