Crinkle Cut Dragon Fries with Miso Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Cavendish Farms FlavourCrisp Classic Crinkle Cut Fries
  • 2 tbsp white miso paste
  • 1 tbsp tamari (substitute soy sauce)
  • 1 cup vegetable broth, divided
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 - 2 banana peppers, thinly sliced
  • 2 scallions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds (to garnish)

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Spread Crinkle Cut Fries in the air fryer basket and cook according to packaging instructions.
  3. To prep, whisk miso, tamari, and 2 tbsp of vegetable stock together in a small bowl. Set aside.
  4. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in the remaining vegetable stock. Simmer until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  5. Remove gravy from heat and stir in the miso mixture. Season with pepper to taste.
  6. Top cooked Crinkle Cut Fries with miso gravy and garnish with banana peppers, scallions, and sesame seeds!
